A 2-night, 3-day time travel to Edinburgh, the city of Harry Potter

#Edinburgh, Scotland, just a 3-hour train ride from Manchester! I prefer a leisurely trip, so I stayed for 3 days, but if you tighten up your schedule, #1Night2Days is also perfectly fine :) Since I'm already in Scotland, visiting other nearby cities like #Glasgow is also a popular route! However, my interest was solely focused on Edinburgh, so I stayed in one city.😆
Recommended places I visited:
1. Dean Village
#DeanVillage is spectacular even on cloudy days, and its unique street layout is quite impressive. Buildings surround a stream, and while it's quiet, it seems like no one will visit, but it's actually quite popular! The scenery is beautiful, so it's worth a visit, but be prepared for a bit of hiking.ㅎㅎ
2. Royal Botanic Garden
This massive botanical garden is one of the most recommended spots in Edinburgh. And it's free admission, so you can enjoy it without any hassle.😆!! Passing through the large wall of grass makes you feel like you've stepped into a famous painting, making it worth a visit :)
3. Edinburgh Old Town
Edinburgh retains its medieval architecture. The narrow alleyways of Old Town are surprisingly interconnected, creating a maze-like atmosphere. You might even spot people playing instruments in traditional Scottish skirts, making for a unique experience :)
4. The Royal Mile
When you think of Edinburgh, Scotland, the first place that comes to mind is the #Royal Mile! Shops line both sides of this winding street. Scotland is famous for its dairy industry, so there are plenty of #icecream shops😆
5. Portobello Beach
The beach is close to Edinburgh, so if you take a bus and enjoy the scenery, you'll be there in no time. 😆 There are brunch spots right on the beach, but expect a bit of a wait even on weekdays. 😅 Still, brunch with a sea view is delicious.
6. Palm Court tea room
#PalmCourt is a #tea room located inside The Balmoral Hotel. To cap off our Edinburgh trip, we decided to have afternoon tea at Palm Court! The interior is beautifully decorated with harmonious elements, making it feel like dining in an indoor garden :) Afternoon tea here takes about two hours, so savor it while you savor it. 👀 It takes longer than you think, so plan ahead if you're on a busy day. Reservations are a must!
