Edinburgh, a Scottish city where the medieval and modern breathe together

#July Travel Support Fund

Edinburgh was quaint from the first impression. The entire city felt like a time travel to the Middle Ages, and each alley lined with gray stone buildings had a unique Scottish atmosphere. Even the cloudy sky matched the city well.

Walking along the Royal Mile in the old town felt like walking through history. Cathedrals, old shops, and traditional pubs lined the streets, and music from street performers flowed as a background. At the end of the street, Edinburgh Castle stood majestically, and the view of the city center and the hills in the distance from the high hill was truly spectacular.

Edinburgh had another face when viewed from Holyrood Palace and Arthur's Seat. Although the wind blew hard, the wide open view and the view of the city at a glance were unforgettable scenes. It was breathtakingly beautiful.

Princess Street Gardens and New Town had a different charm from the old town. Stylish buildings and shops lined the streets, and locals were leisurely enjoying tea time in cafes here and there. At night, music and laughter from traditional pubs made the city warmer.

Edinburgh is a small city, but every alley has a story, and every step reveals a new landscape. It is a city where you can feel history, romance, and even nature. It is a place you miss even more after leaving.
