Edinburgh: Princess Street Gardens

Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh is one of the nicest spots to just slow down and take in the city. Right in the middle of town, it sits between the Old and New Town, so the views are pretty special—you get the castle towering above on one side and the bustle of Princes Street on the other. I enjoyed just sitting on a bench, watching people pass by, and taking in the greenery mixed with historic monuments like the Scott Monument. It’s not a big, formal park, but more of a calm place that makes the city feel welcoming. A lovely stop. #edinburghtrips
