Welcoming Experience with Some Hiccups

Liked · From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome, offering clear guidance about the island and its amenities (like the restaurants and beach). The team truly stands out at this resort — notably Joie and Gassim. Joie is courteous, enjoyable to chat with, and consistently helpful, while Gassim, being a local, shared valuable insights about the island and its people. Both are AMAZING AND FULL OF LIFE. The beach is stunning, pristine, and has soft, enchanting sand. Both dining options — the buffet and à la carte restaurant — were excellent, offering plenty of variety. The drinks included in the All-Inclusive package cater to diverse tastes, which was a significant plus. Prices overall seemed fair, and there are numerous activities to enjoy, from snorkeling and diving to boat trips and fishing excursions. Disliked · The island mainly emphasizes diving and snorkeling. If water sports aren’t your thing, you might find the activities limited compared to other resorts. The beach is relatively small, and some areas have large cement structures that impact the natural look of the view. My biggest disappointment was the dive center. LESS POINTS. During my dive, I encountered a staff member who was regrettably rude and had an arrogant demeanor. He was dismissive, spoke harshly, and made the interaction stressful rather than enjoyable. It felt more like dealing with a strict “diving sergeant” than a welcoming instructor, which was disappointing given the otherwise relaxed and friendly atmosphere of the resort.
