The ancient city of Ephesus is located on the southwest coast of Türkiye, in Selcuk, Izmir Province, and is a famous tourist attraction in Türkiye.
It is a large-scale ancient Greek and Roman city, known as the Pompeii of the East, but its area is 8 times that of Pompeii. It is the first city in the world built with marble, which shows its value.
