In autumn and winter, Niaodiao Mountain presents the spectacular sight of "a hundred birds paying homage to the phoenix", becoming an important channel for migratory birds. Transportation
- Self-driving: Since Niaodiao Mountain has not yet been fully developed, the best mode of transportation is self-driving. Starting from Dali Ancient Town, the journey takes about 2 hours. You can replenish your supplies when you pass Dengchuan or Eryuan. There are many sharp turns in the second half of the road, so please drive carefully.
- Public transportation: Due to the remoteness of the area, public transportation is inconvenient. It is recommended to rent a car or join a local tour group.
