Eunpyeong Hanok Village

Many people go to Seoul and think of Hanok, so they go to the crowded Bukchon Hanok Village. It is really difficult to take a photo without strangers. So this time when I went to Seoul, I chose to go to Eunpyeong Hanok Village in the suburbs of Seoul. Take the 705 bus from the entrance of Myeongdong Shinsegae Department Store to Yeonsinnae Station and then take the 7211 bus. It takes about 1 hour to arrive. You will see the Hanok Village as soon as you get off the bus. There are indeed very few people. There are no more than 10 tourists in the whole village, so it is definitely not a problem to set up a tripod and take pictures slowly. But I remind everyone that there are people living here, so keep quiet🤫!
When going to Eunpyeong Hanok Village, many people will go to the popular cafe "One Cup for One" to eat🍴 and appreciate the Hanok, but the day I went (Monday) was a regular holiday for the cafe. I was a little disappointed at first, thinking that I missed the opportunity to appreciate the Hanok from a high place. But then I found out that there is an observation deck at the top of the Eunpyeong Historical Hanok Museum next to it, where you can enjoy the view of the Hanok Village for free, and you can also enjoy the entire magnificent Bukhansan Mountain. I feel like I earned it 🤣
In addition to admiring the Hanok, I also went to the Jinkuan Temple on the nearby Samgaksan Mountain. It's not a very big temple, but there are small lanterns of different colors hanging in one place🏮, and there are wishing boards, which are quite beautiful.
