Transportation to Fenghuang Ancient Town, Xiangxi
High-speed Rail: Take the high-speed rail/train to Fenghuang Ancient Town Station. After exiting the station, you can take a shuttle bus (7 CNY/person, half price for students).
Airplane: Fly to Tongren Fenghuang Airport. After exiting the airport, take the airport bus directly to Fenghuang Ancient Town.
Car: Navigate to a parking lot near the ancient town (40 CNY/day). You'll have to walk inside the ancient town.
Tickets: 128 CNY/person. You can purchase tickets in advance.

Check-in Points
Nanhua Gate
A landmark building and the boundary between the new and old Fenghuang Ancient Town. Entering Nanhua Gate takes you into the ancient town, and exiting takes you to the new city area.
Tuojiang River
The mother river of Fenghuang Ancient Town. It's truly beautiful after the lights come on at night!! You can also try a boat tour to experience the night view from a different perspective.
Miao Stilt Houses
A local architectural style and the filming location for Chinese Paladin.
Hong Bridge
Spanning the river like a rainbow.
Nanhua Bridge
From the bridge, you can see the scenery on both sides of Xue Bridge, Tiao Rock, and Hong Bridge, as well as a panoramic view of Fenghuang Ancient Town.
Fenghuang Archway
Located near Nanhuali, it's a must-see photo spot.
Shen Congwen's Former Residence
Fenghuang Ancient Town is the hometown of Shen Congwen and the setting for his novel Border Town.

Accommodation
We stayed inside the ancient town. Waking up in the morning and opening the window to the town view was incredibly atmospheric.

Friendly Tips
The ancient town is divided into upper, middle, and lower reaches. The upper and lower reaches are quieter, while the middle reach is more lively.
There are many places to rent clothes in the ancient town. You must try on Miao clothing; it looks amazing in photos!! You can try a Trip Moments photoshoot, or have your friends take pictures with their phones!
