The majority of the population in Phoenix Ancient Town are Miao and Tho Gia ethnic groups, the Miao people originally in Phoenix Ancient Town belong to the Ye Miao group, an ethnic group with a strong sense of preserving and expressing ethnic culture (Miao people are the 5th most populous ethnic minority group in China and are on the list of 55 ethnic minorities officially recognized by the Chinese government). Therefore, when coming to Phoenix Ancient Town, you can also admire the unique cultural features because the Miao and Tho people have a very strong sense of preserving and expressing their national culture.
