Hiking｜Top of the Three Gorges, Leaving Baidi in the Clouds

I felt like I had seen most of the areas around Chongqing, and then I saw a hiking route along the Three Gorges. I did some research and decided to go for it. After climbing, I was exhausted.

Preparation before traveling:
Transportation: 🚄

1️⃣Buy a train ticket directly to Fengjie Station, G1534, departs at 7:58 and arrives at 9:47.
2️⃣After arriving, you can choose two ways to get to Baidi City or Aokou, bus or find a chartered car driver in advance. Charter a car to and from the top of the Three Gorges, negotiable, 60 yuan per person.
3️⃣It is recommended to prepare non-slip hiking shoes and trekking poles in advance. Some sections of the road are slippery, and trekking poles can provide a support point. Prepare two bottles of mineral water in advance as there are few supply points along the way.

Hiking:
1️⃣You need to buy a ticket from Baidicheng, but no ticket is required if Aokou is the starting point of the hike🎫
2️⃣The whole journey from Baidi City is about 9km, while it is 3km less from Aokou. It is recommended that friends who are not in good physical condition start directly from the col.
3️⃣The last 3km is all climbing, which requires a high level of physical fitness.
4️⃣The hiking route of Baidi City is: Baidi City - Qutang Gorge - Aokou - Dangerous Stone Bird Path - Top of the Three Gorges

Return trip:
Tips: After reaching the top, you can play and check in in the scenic area. Free entrance fee for hiking🎫
1️⃣How to get down the mountain: Sightseeing bus 40 yuan/person Cableway: 60 yuan/person
After going down the mountain and arriving at the parking lot, you need to find a car to return to the high-speed rail station by yourself.

2️⃣How to get back to the high-speed rail station: carpool or take a tourist bus.
The tour bus departs at 16:00 or 18:00
It takes about an hour to return to the high-speed rail station from the top of the Three Gorges. You can buy tickets according to the time.
