Castello di Fenis was like a bridge to the past. Its architecture was pure medieval, with layers of defense that showed its strength. But what truly surprised me were the frescoes, delicate and colorful, hidden inside such a fortress-like exterior. The courtyard was my favorite, full of character and history. Surrounded by alpine air and mountain views, the castle felt like part of the landscape itself. Unlike grand palaces, Fenis had authenticity — it wasn’t about luxury, but about resilience and tradition. It was a reminder of simpler, stronger times. #mytraveldiary
