Take a stroll in the wok-ear house, feel the unique charm of the oyster shell wall, appreciate the tranquility under the Baoyue Pavilion, as well as the flowing water under the small bridge and koi in the lotus pond. Every place is full of poetry and elegance.
Not only that,
● There is also a Women's Independence Exhibition Hall, where you can learn about the "self-combing" and "keeping clean" culture of women in Shunde area, allowing you to gain a deeper understanding of the history of self-combing women and the spirit of women's independence.
● Explore the Boshao Medical Clinic in the Bijiang Jinlou ancient building complex and learn about the life of its owner, Su Boshao. Su Boshao, grandson of a member of the Ministry of War during the Daoguang reign, studied Western medicine in his childhood and returned to Bijiang in his later years to treat fellow villagers. The layout of his clinic has been restored to this day.
The exhibition uses Mr. Bo Shao's chronology as a clue, attempting to review the personal history of an intellectual who lived in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China, and who navigated between "China-West", "city-countryside", and "war-peace".
The exhibition is divided into two parts:
The first part is a scene restoration, showing the layout of the clinic when Dr. Bo Shao was seeing patients at home in Bijiang, including the waiting area, diagnosis room, treatment room, etc.
The second part is an introduction to Mr. Bo Shao's life, which fully restores Mr. Bo Shao's life experience.
