Nestled in the heart of Shunde, Qinghui Garden is a masterpiece of Lingnan classical gardens, seamlessly blending nature, architecture, and history. As I wandered through its serene pathways, I was captivated by the harmonious design—meandering waterways, ancient banyan trees, and intricate pavilions reflecting in tranquil ponds.
The garden's elegance lies in its delicate balance of space and structure. Ornate bridges arch over koi-filled ponds, while traditional Lingnan-style mansions showcase exquisite wood carvings and ceramic decorations. The rock formations and moon gates create a dreamlike atmosphere, inviting visitors to lose themselves in the artistry of centuries past.
One of the highlights was the Hall of Fragrant Snow, where the scent of blooming flowers lingers in the air. The interplay of light and shadow, filtered through latticed windows, added a poetic touch to the surroundings.
