Shunfeng Mountain’s sunflower sea is dominating social media! Honestly—it’s 100 times more stunning than online photos! The golden flower fields stretch to the skyline, Dutch windmills turn among the blooms, squirrels jump from branches overhead, and the world’s largest archway silhouettes against the sunset… At this moment, you truly understand that “life is worth it”! (Detailed route + perfect photo spots at the end)
🌻 About the sunflowers: stepping into Van Gogh’s palette
Enter from the south gate, bike along Qingyun Lake for about 10 minutes, and suddenly you’ll encounter a flowing golden ocean! The flower stalks are taller than people, the flower heads are full like little suns, and you don’t have to worry about crowds blocking your shots—the flower fields are designed with winding paths, so just crouch down for an overhead shot to get the same composition as Van Gogh’s Garden!
✅ Recommended shooting time: 4-6 PM (soft light + sunset glow)
❌ Caution: soil is soft after rain, don’t wear white shoes! There are bees in the flowers but they usually don’t sting.
🎡 Windmill House · Pretend you’re in the Netherlands
In the center of the sunflower sea is a vintage red windmill house! With rolling hills in the distance, it feels like you’ve been transported to Keukenhof Park. We recommend standing on the small slope beside the windmill and using a telephoto lens to capture the “windmill + flower sea + blue sky” three-layer depth of field—your friends will flood you with questions about whether you went abroad!
