Impressed by the Majestic Sudajii Tree in Chiba

Deep in the mountains of Katsuura City, Chiba Prefecture, stands an ancient tree known as Uenomura no Oji. This massive and thick tree is located within a Nichiren Buddhist temple. While its exact age remains unknown, it is said to be incredibly old.

In front of this grand tree, there is a small bench where visitors can sit and admire its beauty at a leisurely pace. The contrast between the blue sky and the moss-covered green trunk is particularly stunning during the daytime. I visited on a bright summer afternoon and was treated to a truly breathtaking view!

The surrounding area is filled with rice fields and bamboo groves, offering a rich sense of nature. It's a perfect spot for those who want to immerse themselves in the beauty of the natural world.
