Tasmania in spring was a revelation. We drove along the east coast to Freycinet National Park, where we hiked the trail to Wineglass Bay Lookout. The bay’s curved beach and turquoise waters shimmered under clear skies. Along the way, wildflowers painted the landscape, and wallabies occasionally crossed our path. Camping near Coles Bay meant we woke up to birdsong and sunrise over the mountains. The cooler spring temperatures made hiking more enjoyable. Freycinet is a must for nature lovers wanting a quiet, unspoiled destination to recharge in spring.
