[Going out with your pet] Head to Oishi Park during the Lavender Festival!

A beautiful park with gardens facing the shores of Lake Kawaguchi.

Famous for its collaboration of lavender and Mt. Fuji, it is the venue for the Kawaguchiko Herb Festival, which is held from late June to early July. Unfortunately, I couldn't see Mt. Fuji when I visited, but it was a very beautiful park. Pets can be brought along on a leash.
