The Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge is a reinforced concrete arch bridge located in Kawaguchiko-machi, Fuji Prefecture, spanning Lake Kawaguchi, one of the Fuji Five Lakes. The bridge is 500 meters long with a main span of 240 meters, making it the longest bridge in the Fuji Five Lakes area. The bridge was built in 1971 and was originally a toll bridge. It was opened to the public free of charge in June 2005. After the bridge was completed, it became a famous tourist attraction in the Fuji Five Lakes area.
The most attractive thing about Kawaguchiko Bridge is that you can enjoy the reflection of Mount Fuji. On a clear and windless day, standing on the bridge you can see Mount Fuji reflected on the lake, forming a beautiful picture. If you want to check in properly, it is recommended to go in the morning or evening. In the morning, the water surface is calmer and it is easier to take pictures of "Inverted Fuji". At dusk, with the beautiful red clouds, it is even more romantic.
Kawaguchiko Bridge is one of the must-see attractions when visiting the Fuji Five Lakes area, where you can enjoy the reflection of Mount Fuji. If you have the opportunity to visit the Fuji Five Lakes area, don't miss this beautiful bridge.
