West Lake in winter

I never thought I'd visit Lake Saiko, one of the Fuji Five Lakes, in winter. Unlike when I visited in early autumn, the nearby river was frozen over, probably due to the biting cold. There were no trees or flowers in bloom, but the cold air allowed me to see Mt. Fuji in all its beauty.
