Kawaguchiko Oishi Park

From Kawaguchiko Station, take the Red Line bus for about 30 minutes and you will reach Oishi Park, the final stop. Since the weather was cloudy since the morning, I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to see the mountain properly, but even though the sunlight wasn’t strong, I could see Mt. Fuji clearly.
I still can’t forget the impression I had when I first saw Mt. Fuji.
Rather than just being pretty and amazing, it felt huge and majestic. I guess I was somehow overwhelmed by the energy of the mountain.
Unlike the many mountain peaks right across from it, the mountain standing alone felt very majestic.
The narrow cone shape that you see in books was really amazing.
There were many families visiting Oishi Park. And since it is a famous place, there were more tourists than locals.
There are not many restaurants around, but there are also food trucks in front of the bus stop and near it.
The park has a lot of reeds, and it is currently the tulip season, so most of the park is full of tulips. It was a great place to eat ice cream (550 yen) at a cafe in the park and heal while looking at the beautiful scenery.
