A place you must visit once in your lifetime

It was the first time I saw Mount Fuji so close, from the silence of day to the glimmer of night.
The wind was cold, but the mountain remained there, so quiet and steady.
It felt as if time had slowed down, as if reminding me:
Some scenery can be reached without rushing.

Walking down the street, I looked up and saw Mount Fuji looming between the power lines and streetlights.
In that moment, I suddenly realized that grandeur can coexist with the everyday.
In the wind blowing across the golden grasslands, in the moment when the sunset reflected on the lake,
everything needed no words; it simply existed—
yet it was enough to be remembered for a long time.
