Fumotoppara Campground in Shizuoka is famous for its sweeping views of Mt. Fuji, and inside the grounds you’ll find Kanayama Terrace—a scenic café with wall-to-wall glass facing the mountain.

Even if you’re not camping, you can visit the café by paying a parking fee (time-limited entry). We arrived on a perfect day—the first snow of the season had just been observed on Mt. Fuji, giving it that iconic snow-capped look. Absolutely breathtaking!

The entire site is spacious, offering a great sense of openness and privacy. Whether you’re here to sip coffee or just soak in the views, this spot is a hidden gem for nature lovers.
