Enoshima

Enoshima needs to be walked all the way. There are many attractions, including Enoshima Bridge, Enoshima Shrine, Sea Candle Lighthouse, Chijigafuchi, Enoshima Iwaya, etc. However, because the weather was too bad that day, it started raining after we finished walking through the shrine, so we left quickly.

After getting off at Enoshima Station on the Enoden, walk to the Enoshima Bridge. After walking across, you will reach Enoshima. When you arrive on the island, you will first see the bronze torii gate, then the Enoshima Benzaiten shopping street, and then you will reach the Enoshima Shrine.
Eshima Shrine is one of the three major Benzaiten shrines in Japan, consisting of three shrines: Hetsunomiya, Nakatsunomiya, and Okutsunomiya.

At the three shrines, you can pay to take the "Enoshima ESCAR", Japan's first outdoor escalator, which is divided into three sections. It can only be used in one direction upward, but you can also walk the entire way. It takes about 4 minutes to reach the top of the mountain by escalator, and about 20 minutes to climb the stairs.
