"Arakurayama Sengen Park" is a quintessentially Japanese spot, offering spectacular views of cherry blossoms, Mt. Fuji, and the five-story pagoda. 🌸 You can actually see this view for free! 😍 It's a very popular spot, and apparently parking is unavailable on weekends when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. In spring, you can see cherry blossoms, Mt. Fuji, and the five-story pagoda all in one view, making this spot highly praised by visitors from overseas as a truly Japanese experience! ️
Located halfway up Mt. Arakurayama, it can be reached after climbing 398 steps, but the view is well worth the climb! ✨
The observation deck was renovated two years ago, making it a safe and enjoyable spot for everyone! However, because there's a 50-person rotation every 5 minutes, depending on when your turn comes around, you might not be able to get a good spot. If it's available, you might be able to line up and re-line multiple times. On a clear day, the view is truly spectacular, so I highly recommend it! By the way, pets are allowed! 🐶🐱

The Cherry Blossom Festival will be held from March 30 to April 14, 2024, with food stalls and parking restrictions. Please be aware of the following information. ⚠️

If you're driving, please note that parking is available elsewhere, so please do not set your car navigation system to Arakurayama Sengen Park! It should be set to "Shimoyoshida Dai-ni Elementary School." 🏫 (I repeat, set your car navigation system to: ⭕️ Shimoyoshida Dai-ni Elementary School (2-8-2 Midorigaoka, Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture) ❌ It's a 20-minute walk from the Arakurayama Sengen Park parking lot. You'll also need to climb to get to the observation deck, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes like sneakers! A shuttle bus is also available, so please make use of it. 🚌 Shuttle bus operating hours: To the Arakurayama Sengen Park area: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM; To the temporary parking lot: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM; Parking lot open: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM. *Please note that the parking lot will be completely closed at 6:00 PM.
