One of the attractions of Shoichi Nakatsukasa Magotaro Inari Shrine is its unusual lighting.

The brightly shining torii gate is so impressive that it has become a hot topic on social media!

The shrine is located inside Nishi Park, a famous cherry blossom spot in Fukuoka.

If it's hard to find on the map, head straight ahead to Koun Shrine at the top and then turn right, and you'll see the shining torii gate.

There is a slope up to the shrine, so be prepared to climb!

There is a road in front of the torii gate, so be careful not to go over the road and concentrate on taking photos.

Apart from the lighting, there are huge signs and art on display, so although the grounds are not very large, it is a shrine with a lot to see.
