Fukuoka is a must-visit destination when exploring this part of Japan. Kyushu, the prefecture in general is an absolutely amazing place. While, Fukuoka is one of Japan’s major cities, but its laid-back atmosphere can be very nice and unique especially in comparison to cities like Tokyo.

If you’re a food lover, then you should know that Fukuoka, maybe Hakata in specific, is very well known for some food items like Ramen and Gyoza. Ramen is a popular dish throughout Japan and you can find excellent quality noodles almost anywhere. But by nature, it is always unique, so it’s a great idea to see all the variations; so much goes into it! The ramen variation of Fukuoka is amongst the best. And eating along the nakasu river in the night is an experience not to be missed.
