📍Address: Fukuoka City Museum of Art
When it comes to Fukuoka, people often don’t know what to do.
This time, by chance, I stayed near Ohori Park and went to the Fukuoka Art Museum. Unexpectedly, I found this place very fun to visit!
💞Recommendation reason:
This time I saw exhibitions by Yayoi Kusama, Dali, Picasso, and many other cross-border artists, and I was particularly moved! In particular, the work "Woman of the Globe" by Japanese-Korean artist Lee Chang-ok, wearing African floral fabrics, holding a spear, and hitting a cherry tree, expressed the struggle of women from all over the world for equality and rights with creativity. The name of teacher Chizuko Ueno is also on the globe.
🗓️Itinerary:
Friends who like art works are recommended to go and see it. The ticket is only 200 yen and you can spend 2 hours strolling around. You can also spend half a day in the park next to it, very chil!
