Fukuoka's Special Limited Octopus Sashimi

Kawataro is a renowned restaurant in Fukuoka that specializes in serving live fish, and it has been in operation for over 50 years. There are two branches in Fukuoka: the main branch in Nakasu Kawabata and a branch at Hakata Station. Reservations are recommended.

Inside the restaurant, you can see live squid in a tank, with chefs catching and preparing the squid for sashimi right in front of you. The menu includes pictures, so there's no need to worry about ordering.

Octopus sashimi is a signature dish. When a customer orders it, the chef catches an octopus that meets the size requirements and prepares it on the spot. The dish is served within a few minutes, ensuring its freshness.

The octopus is sliced thinly, with the chef making diamond-shaped cuts on the surface. It has a chewy texture and a unique taste. The freshness of the seafood and the flavor of the sauce complement each other perfectly.

The seafood sashimi platter includes not only seafood but also chicken sashimi, and everything is delicious.
