Fukuoka Palace Hotel, experience the atmosphere of the pioneering color-contrasting show🏰

🏰【Architectural Legend】
The IL Palazzo Hotel in Fukuoka is a masterpiece created by architect Aldo Rossi in 1989. Located in the vibrant city of Fukuoka, it has served as a bridge for cultural exchange between the East and the West since its establishment. Rossi combines the style of Venice in Italy, the Haussmann architecture in Paris and the elements of Nishi Honganji Temple in Kyoto, Japan. The entire building is like a giant work of art.

🎨【Surprise after renovation】
Recently, the Japanese Uchida Design studio renovated this hotel. While respecting the history and style of the original building, modern elements are cleverly incorporated. For example, the hotel entrance was moved from the second floor to the first floor, and super cool blue lights were added, instantly making the entrance full of futuristic feeling.

🌈【Lobby and Restaurant】
When you enter the lobby, you will be shocked by the high ceiling and huge pillars. The space is filled with interweaving of red, green and blue, and staggered light and shadow, creating a sense of being in a dream world. In the center of the restaurant is a water sculpture called "Dancing Water" designed by Shigeru Uchida. The water waves are projected on the ceiling, which is extremely romantic.

🛀【Gentleness of the guest rooms】
The guest rooms are designed in a completely different way, with soft colors and warm lighting. The designer uses a lot of wood to make the space full of natural atmosphere. Here, you can temporarily say goodbye to the hustle and bustle of the outside world and enjoy a quiet time.

📸【Tribute in details】
The renovation did not forget the past. The original lighting from 1989 still remains in the corridor, and the wall mirrors are printed with fragments of Rossi's sketches. There is also a very memorable red clock "Dear Morris", designed by Uchida to commemorate Morris Adjmi, Rossi's assistant who supervised the construction of the hotel.

🌟【Extension of the community】
The square outside the hotel has been rejuvenated and will host community activities and farmers' markets in the future, which is highly consistent with Master Rossi's concept of creating a "borderless space".

IL Palazzo Hotel is not just a place to stay, but also a space full of stories, art and emotions. Next time you go to Fukuoka, be sure to experience the charm of this legendary building.
