While staying near Tenjin Minami Station, I found this Gyukatsu restaurant while searching for a place to have lunch.

I heard that it's a popular spot with locals, especially in the evening when there's usually a wait. However, I was able to enter and dine immediately after checking out and doing an open run.

Many restaurants in Fukuoka tend to be small, but Akamiya Koushi has a spacious interior with tables and chairs with backrests, making it highly recommended for those dining with children.

✔️ Personally, I found the sirloin to be tastier than the tenderloin.
✔️ In addition to rice cooked in a pot and basic side dishes, you can choose two additional side dishes, making for a hearty meal.
✔️ The spacious interior and menu make it a great place to dine with children.
