🌿 Quiet afternoon, Fukuoka’s time in the museum 🕰️
When traveling, there are times when you suddenly want to feel the memories of a city, not a tourist attraction.
Today, I visited the Fukuoka City Museum with that kind of feeling.
In a quiet space where no one was rushing me,
I slowly walked through the time Fukuoka had passed 🐾
This is not a simple history exhibition,
but a place that calmly but deeply shows
how the city of Fukuoka came to be ‘now’.
🌊 Between the continent and the sea,
A city where new cultures have always come and gone.
People who faced the outside world faster than anyone else
and made their own paths within it.
The traces of each of them were alive and breathing in the exhibition.
🎐 Local items like my grandmother’s house from my childhood,
📜 The history contained in old books or maps,
It felt like looking into someone’s old diary.
Outside the building, green trees sway in the wind,
and the sunlight quietly streams down the glass windows...
It was truly a time when my heart felt at ease ☀️🍃
A place I would really recommend to those who want to slow down their travel pace.
If you want to see the inside of Fukuoka,
be sure to stop by.

💭 It's a small but deep, quiet but full space.
