Famous as a shrine for exorcising evil spirits, it is known by the name of "Yakuhachiman."

Many people visit the "New Year's Eve Festival to Remove Evil Spirits" held on New Year's Eve and the lunar New Year's Eve, and long lines form for the New Year's prayers.

The deities enshrined are Osagi-no-Mikoto (Emperor Nintoku),
Oonamuchi-no-Mikoto, and
Sukunahikona-no-Mikoto.

Due to the New Year's Eve Festival to Remove Evil Spirits, prayers cannot be accepted from December 16th to December 30th, New Year's Day, and Lunar New Year. (Visits are possible)
