Baiyun Mountain is located 30 kilometers east of Biyang County. It got its name because of its strange and beautiful peaks and the white clouds that often roll around it. There is a Jade Emperor Temple on the mountain. When there was a drought, people all went there to pray for rain, and their prayers were always answered.
At 983 meters above sea level , the summit, shrouded in mist and clouds, is a mountain of unusually shaped rocks, nicknamed " White Stack . " Densely forested, with a carpet of exotic flowers and grasses, a gurgling mountain stream and a clear pool of water behind the mountain, all intertwined and reflected, create a magnificent and solemn scene, a truly captivating sight.
Baiyun Mountain boasts numerous temples, mountain strongholds, and caves, earning it the reputation of being a renowned mountain for its numerous monks and Taoists since ancient times. The interconnected mountain strongholds and interconnected caves create an elegant environment ideal for cultivating one's character.
