[History romance on the island of Kin'in🌊] A trip to Shikanoshima to experience the sea and ancient times

Shikanoshima, located northeast of Fukuoka City, is a spot where you can feel ancient history, even though it is an island surrounded by the sea and rich in nature. It is also famous as the place where the golden seal of the "King of Na", was discovered, and is full of romance that history lovers will love. There are also cycling paths and beaches on the island, so it is recommended for active people!

When I actually visited, I was surprised by the transparency of the sea, and cycling while feeling the sea breeze was the best relaxation.

The view from Kinin Park was also wonderful, and I was enveloped in a mysterious feeling of history and nature blending together.

Access is about 40 minutes by car from Fukuoka City. For public transportation, take the Nishitetsu bus to "Shikanoshima" from JR Kashii Station.

The key to success is to make use of rental bicycles! It is just the right distance to go around the island, and the road along the sea is full of spectacular views. You can enjoy each season: swimming in the sea in summer, cycling in spring and autumn, and quiet historical walks in winter 🌤️
