⛩️Kushida Shrine in Fukuoka is a Shinto shrine that is over 1,200 years old and was built in 757. It has beautiful traditional architecture and a shady atmosphere, making it a great place to walk around and calm your mind. It is an important venue for the Hakata Gionyama Festival, which is very lively in July.
Inside the shrine are enshrined deities that Japanese people respect, such as Amaterasu-Omikami and Susanoo-no-Mikoto. People often come to pray for success in business, good health, and long life. There is also a sacred well that is believed to help people live long and healthy lives. Rubbing the horse's head and cow's horn at the entrance is another belief that helps cure illnesses and achieve success in life overall.
This shrine is suitable for praying for:
- Success in business and work
- Good health and long life
- Dispelling illnesses and good luck in life
Open: Everyday 9:00-17:00
