Hotel Okura Fukuoka Single Room Breakfast

#Ho-kang-su

The 2-day, 1-night Fukuoka accommodation changed the day before departure from Osaka to Fukuoka due to the typhoon last summer. The accommodation was in Tenjin, and I booked Okura for afternoon tea.

The afternoon tea was also excellent, and champagne was included. At that time, they served French toast with scones, which they said was the hotel's signature, as a service. It was really delicious.😍 After that, I stayed at Okura Kobe.

This time, I visited Okura Fukuoka. I made the reservation in October last year as an early bird, including breakfast. It was the most basic room, a single room. Check-in was around 8 PM. A taxi from the airport would cost a little less than 3,000 yen.

I wanted a high floor, but the penthouse is on the 13th floor, and there are rooms up to the 12th floor, but I received the 11th floor. If you look at the floor guide, the hotel is a long ㄷ-shaped building like Tetris, and this is the room on the lower floor.

It faces the hotel across the street, but you can see Don Quijote on the side, Nakasugawa below, and the newly built Ritz-Carlton on the right, and you can even see the ocean.

Even though it is the narrowest single room in the hotel, the room is quite spacious. The bed is also large. The amenities are plentiful, and the aroma bath is basic, so you can use it by dissolving it in the bathtub. The closet is also large.

It rained that day, so I borrowed an umbrella, and even at 1 a.m., the staff came out to the reception and greeted me warmly, took my umbrella, and said good night, which was touching.

The greetings were the best during every moment of my stay at the hotel. I will participate in the breakfast the next day. It is held on the 1st floor. You can also make egg dishes and tonkotsu ramen at the on-the-spot corner.

I will order only the mushroom cheese omelet at Ichiran at night. The signature French toast is also welcome. Mentaiko and Motsunabe are also available, as is typical of Fukuoka. Breakfast is delicious.

Check out at 8am. I didn't know when I checked in because I was taking a taxi, but I was told that there was an underground passage from the hotel lobby to Nakasu Kawabata Station, so I was able to get to the station comfortably. Thank you.
