The Zhengzhou Science and Technology Museum, a public welfare facility invested in and built by the Zhengzhou Municipal Government, serves as a vital base for scientific education for the public, particularly young people. Through exhibitions and a variety of science and technology activities, it aims to promote and popularize scientific knowledge, foster a scientific spirit, and cultivate scientific interest, scientific thinking, and innovative capabilities.
The Zhengzhou Science and Technology Museum opened on April 29, 2000, with a construction area of 8,426 square meters. The main building comprises three floors above ground and one basement floor. The exhibition halls are divided into 16 exhibition areas, housing over 200 exhibits covering 26 categories of basic and applied sciences, including natural sciences, acoustics, mathematics, optics, and life sciences. These exhibits are highly scientific, informative, engaging, artistic, and engaging. The Zhengzhou Science and Technology Museum has been designated a "National Youth Science and Technology Education Base," a "National Popular Science Education Base," a "Henan Provincial Civilized Unit," and one of the "Top Ten Youth Extracurricular Education Bases in Zhengzhou."
After two months of renovation, the Zhengzhou Science and Technology Museum's third-floor exhibition hall has added content related to puberty for elementary and middle school students to the Life Science section. These include multimedia displays on puberty, a telephone booth for adolescent safety information, and private rooms for boys and girls. The exhibition hall will officially open before the Spring Festival. Additionally, the museum will offer hands-on activities such as a "Little Mechanic" program and an archaeology workshop.
We currently have five exhibition areas open on the third floor: "Ceramics," "Open Source Hardware," "3D Printing," "Laser Processing," and "Magic Brush." Each area has its own unique charm and is worth exploring. We also have a VR experience area on the third floor, perfect for holiday entertainment and relaxation.
