Hakata Riverain Venue "Hakata Lantern Watching 2022"

This is "Hakata Lantern Watching 2022" at the Hakata Riverain site, which also houses the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum.

The lantern design is based on the theme of "the city of Hakata, which has developed alongside the sea, and the stories that have been passed down there."

Candles are lit on the bridge, and lanterns shine on the water.

The shrine was also enveloped in the gentle light of the lanterns.
