Suitable for all seasons
Double-reflected stalagmites
To the north of Diaotai Mountain lie two stalagmites, formed from natural rock formations. The larger one stands majestically, round and powerful, while the smaller one stands gracefully and charmingly. The large and small stalagmites follow the slope of the mountain, resembling a hero and a beautiful woman, each leaning against the other and complementing the other. At their foot lies a long pond, its waters emerald green and calm like a mirror. Whenever the sun rises, the twin stalagmites are reflected in the pond, revealing the beauty of the mountains and water. This is the beauty of the Double Reflected Stalagmites.
Elephant Trunk Cave
To the south of Diaotai Mountain lies a prominent, barren ridge, stretching from the mountainside to its foot. Its shape resembles a slightly curved elephant trunk, earning it its name. In the middle of the ridge lies a cave with a flat, spacious floor, accommodating dozens of people and seating arrangements. This is the Elephant Trunk Cave. Ming Dynasty poet Zhang Fengyi's poem on the Elephant Trunk Cave reads: "White elephants rise from the western sea, the lofty peaks of the rocks open up, the warm spring air transforms them into a myriad of colors, no need for mirages to create towers."
