This open, plaza-like park is located near the Hakata Old Town area, about a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station.

While there are no playground equipment and it's not really a playground, there are plenty of benches, making it a great place to take a break or have lunch.

It also houses a monument commemorating the birth of Kyushu Railway, giving it a sacred atmosphere for railway enthusiasts. It's a must-see when sightseeing in Hakata.
