Boso Peninsula Road Trip|Refreshing Coastal Drive!

For several years now, I've loved taking road trips to the Boso Peninsula. Driving along the coastline is truly invigorating! This time, I started at 8 AM from the Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line, passed through the Umihotaru undersea tunnel, and still had plenty of time to enjoy everything along the way.

Must-visit spots:

• Nokogiriyama: A perfect blend of mountain and sea views, hiking here is incredibly refreshing.

• Haraoka Pier: A picturesque pier extending into the sea, perfect for photos.

• Daifukuji Cliff Kannon Temple: A cliffside Kannon statue with breathtaking panoramic views.

• Nojimazaki Lighthouse: A classic photo spot with a white lighthouse against the blue sea.

• Nomizo Falls: A cool and refreshing gorge waterfall, ideal for summer visits.

With plenty of stops along the way, I even had time to enjoy dinner and shop at the Kisarazu outlet. The itinerary was both relaxing and fulfilling. The best part of a road trip is the freedom to stop whenever you see a beautiful view, take photos, and enjoy the sea breeze while driving. It’s the ultimate way to unwind!

For those who love coastal scenery and the freedom of road trips, the Boso Peninsula is absolutely worth visiting again and again!
