Fuzhou: Lost in the Black Myth: Wukong Extra

Visited the ancient Puzhu Temple during the Song and Jiatai periods, and felt the 800-year history. Embarked on a hiking trip to the 500 Luohan Mountain behind the temple, starting from the Three-faced Guanyin and Floating Cloud Tower, and climbed up the steps. Along the way, the mottled and faded Luohan stone sculptures in the mountain streams were sitting, lying or standing, in groups of three or two. The traces of time made moss and vines entangled on the vicissitudes of the stone sculptures. There are also lifelike animal stone carvings such as snakes, monkeys and eagles in the Luohan group. It only takes half an hour to reach the top of the mountain. There, three majestic Buddhas and Sakyamuni stone statues stand quietly, facing the Minjiang River. Feel the weight of history and the magnificence of nature.
