Between Hongcun and Xidi, I chose the niche and literary Bishan Village.

From afar, the ancient tower stands under the layers of green hills, like a Huizhou ink painting.
There are no endless streams of tourists here.
There are not many signs of commercialization.
There is no necessary check-in point.
Walking in the village lanes, I felt that the village was quiet and leisurely.
The villagers still keep farming, and there are old people sitting under the eaves chatting and enjoying the cool air.
▫️
The front of Bishan Bookstore is not very eye-catching, and the sign is half hidden by the green plants on the wall.
The predecessor of the bookstore was an ancestral hall built during the Jiaqing period.
After the renovation, the original structure and style of the ancestral hall were preserved.
There are still old words on the wall.
You can buy a postcard in the cultural and creative area here.
There is a mailbox on the right side of the gate.
▫️
Today, Bishan Village has the Cowshed Café, the Pig Pen Inn, and the Doghouse Bar.
But it still can't cover up its cool and artistic temperament.
It has also become the place I will never forget during this trip.
▫️
🏡Location: Bishan Village
🅿️Parking: There is a parking space at the entrance of the village
