Sleeping amidst the alleyway charm | A thousand years of tenderness

Staying at Meixi Hotel (Fuzhou Sanfang Qixiang Nanmendou Metro Station Branch) in Fuzhou was truly a hidden gem! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the warm yellow lighting mixed with a faint jasmine scent, I knew I had chosen the right place~

🌿 Unbeatable location, direct access to attractions

Turn left 100 meters from the hotel entrance and you're at Nanmendou Metro Station, the interchange for Line 1 and Line 2, making it super convenient to get to Gushan, Shangxiahang, and Fuzhou Station! A 20-minute walk directly to the main street of Sanfang Qixiang. I personally tested these times for the most comfortable stroll:

- 7:30 AM: Slip into Nanhou Street to see the morning light on the bluestone slabs, the old banyan trees in Langguan Alley casting dappled shadows, perfect for ancient-style photos with a natural soft-focus filter 📸
- 6:00 PM: Stroll from Guanglu Fang to Wenru Fang, watching lanterns light up in every household 🏮, the sweet scent of jasmine wafting from the jasmine flower stall next to Lin Zexu Memorial Hall. Pick up a jasmine bracelet for just 5 yuan on the way~
- 9:30 PM: Avoid the crowds and head to Yangqiao Alley, where moonlight filters through the upturned eaves of the saddle-back walls. Listen to the old 'Yi Bo' (uncle) at the end of the alley recount old tales of 'Seven Alleys and Three Lanes,' a tranquility not found during the day 🌙

Nearby food options are all amazing, you can't go wrong! Yonghe Fish Balls (Nanhou Street Branch) burst with juice when you bite into them 🍡, and the Tongli Rouyan from the Tongli Rouyan Old Shop (Sanfang Qixiang Branch) across the street has skin as thin as paper; Walk 8 minutes to Ming Food Street, you must try peanut soup with taro paste – sweet but not cloying, super refreshing~ If you want to try local dishes, the hotel front desk will recommend old establishments in the alleys, where you can enjoy a small portion of Buddha Jumps Over the Wall and Lychee Pork for just 60 yuan per person 🍲

💫 A hundred services with perfect details
I've stayed in countless hotels, but Meixi's "hundred services" is the first that makes me want to give a perfect 100! The thoughtfulness hidden in everyday details is more touching than any promotion:

- As soon as I walked in with my suitcase, the front desk enthusiastically helped me with my luggage 🧳, their attentiveness was truly amazing!
- One morning, I casually mentioned to the front desk that I "wanted to visit Xichan Temple to pray," and they immediately handed me a travel guide 📝 – their thoughtfulness is unparalleled!
- The details in the room are simply a "blessing for the lazy": there's a USB charging port hidden by the bedside 🔌, and hangers are also provided in the room 👕.

The duvet in the room is very soft ☁️, the bathroom has a wet/dry separation 🚿, toiletries are Dove, a hairdryer is provided 💨, and there's mineral water 💧, milk tea sachets ☕, and tea bags 🍵 for guests.

If you also want to slow down and experience the tenderness of Fuzhou, choosing Meixi is definitely the right choice. It's like an old friend in the alleyways, hiding all its thoughtfulness in details waiting for you to discover 💕
