Gangneung seems like a good place to go with friends.
KTX often has a 4-person 50,000 won event, and if 4 people pool their money and take a taxi, it's super convenient and cheap to go to almost all tourist attractions!

I highly recommend it as a friendship trip with friends!!!!!! Also recommended for couples! Also recommended for a family trip! Also recommended for solo travelers!
It's about an hour and a half from Seoul by KTX? It seems really good.
I actually went to Gangmun Beach while waiting for Jjamppong Sundubu, but it was prettier than I thought and you can surf there too! I recommend it as a small attraction!

When I went there last year, because of Corona, I had to get my temperature checked and wear a wrist band like Everland to enter!
