Hotels lined up along Anmok Beach in Gangneung. Among them, I visited Fine Art Travel, which is relatively inexpensive. It is a newly built hotel that I found because expensive hotels cost more than 500,000 won per night. The room size is honestly a bit small and the bathroom is also narrow, but you can see the sunrise over the sea and there is a small terrace, so it was great for having a beer on a nice day. I think it is the best location, especially for travelers who want to enjoy swimming. There are even facilities to shake off sand outside the hotel. It is close enough to step on the sand at the beach in just 1 minute from the lobby. It is not a very crowded place, so I was able to feel enough rest in the quiet sea. The hotel facilities also have auxiliary facilities for children to play, so it would be good for families, but the rooms are a bit small, so be sure to check and make a reservation!
