This is how to travel to Gangneung 🩵

The 2-day, 1-night trip to Gangneung was really satisfying because I could enjoy the ocean, food, emotions, and shopping. 🌊💙 The first morning, I took the train to Gangneung Station and headed straight to Anmok Beach! Walking along the coffee street while looking at the ocean is still romantic in itself. ☕️🌿 A cup of vanilla latte while listening to the sound of the waves made the trip start off sweetly.

For lunch, I went to Hyeongje Kalguksu, recommended by Gangneung locals! 🥢 The kalguksu with plenty of clams had a refreshing and deep flavor from the broth, and the chewy noodles went well with the fragrant seaweed powder, so I couldn't stop eating. The pickled vegetables served on the side were also a godsend! After eating my fill, I could feel the charm of Gangneung even more. 🍲🧡

In the afternoon, I stopped by Gangneung Central Market for a quick look around and moved to Myeongju-dong, where there are many emotional prop shops. If you look at everything from pottery, stationery, incense, and wooden props, you won't know how much time has passed 🛍️✨ In particular, I got a pretty postcard and mini vase from a vintage prop shop.

I booked a sentimental accommodation with an ocean view, and in the evening, I quietly finished the day with squid sundae and grilled clams at a street food stall near Jumunjin Port 🌙🦑 It was a perfect day with warm seafood and a sunset.

The next day, I took a quiet morning walk and leisurely spent time looking around Gyeongpoho and Seongyojang, and finally, I stopped by Gangmun Beach Cafe Street, another prop shop-dense area, and finished my Gangneung trip with brunch and dessert 🥞🌼 It was a satisfying 2 days and 1 night with emotions, food, and shopping! 💛
