The most famous beach in Gangneung is Anmok Beach. It is characterized by cafes lining the beach and clear seawater, and there are photo spots here and there, so it was fun to take pictures. In the past, I was busy soaking my feet and playing at the beach, but now I have a lot of fun taking pictures

Beach open every July to August
The beach is always open, but please note that lifeguards are only there in July and August! The East Sea suddenly gets deep, so it is dangerous for those who can't swim! Since I visited in the winter, I didn't go into the sea and went to a cafe. Most cafes are on the 2nd or 3rd floor, and the view of the sea from the 2nd floor was really nice! I highly recommend enjoying a cup of coffee and taking your time at Anmok Beach. The parking lot was honestly a bit crowded.
