The Ganzhou Confucian Temple is located in the old city district and is a national key cultural relic protection unit. Reconstructed during the Qing dynasty, it is the largest in scale and highest in formal rank in Jiangxi Province, and the most completely preserved Qing dynasty county school and Confucius worship site. The architecture of the Confucian Temple has characteristics of the Lingnan region, especially the color of the rooftops, which are particularly bright and vivid. The Ciyun Pagoda, originally part of the Confucian Temple, now stands in the center of the playground of Ganzhou Houde Road Primary School and is not open for visitors.
