Walking through the tea villages and floral scents of Yunhai Mountain

Take the Green 12 bus from MRT Xindian Station and get off at Xiaogetou Station on Beiyi Highway to start your journey of enjoying May snow and tea gardens.

Route: Xiaogetou Bixian Police Station > Yunhai Mountain > Fengluzui > Cukenglun > Dagemen > Lielijian down to Pinglin. The path is serene and clear, with seven mountain peaks to explore along the way. Among them, Lielijian features an observation deck with expansive views, making it an excellent spot for watching the sunrise and sunset.

The tea gardens face the Beishi River and the Feicui Reservoir. Looking out, the mountains stretch endlessly, with the Feicui Reservoir hidden deep within, reluctant to reveal itself. The May snow along the way is stunning, dancing in the breeze to cheer us on as we walk through the forest.

The beauty of this itinerary is its flexibility; if you prefer a less strenuous hike, there are many exit and retreat points. Simply descend to Beiyi Highway to catch the Green 12 bus for your return trip.
